Test without touching a real player.

The sandbox returns a fixed synthetic report. It never reads a chess account, queues work, calls Stockfish, or spends a Claude report. Use it for schema tests, retry logic and agent tool calls.

Endpoint

The same endpoint is available on the site domain at https://getonemove.app/v1/sandbox/reports/chesscom/example. It accepts chesscom or lichess and any username. The body is stable and includes the Constraint, metric, Target, band, games and written paragraph fields an agent should expect.

What is safe to test

• JSON parsing and field mapping.
• Retry and backoff logic.
• RateLimit header handling and 429 responses.
• Idempotency-Key replay on write endpoints.
• MCP tool calls against https://api.getonemove.app/mcp.

What not to use it for

The sandbox is not a demo of a real player and is not a substitute for a Free report. It returns the same numbers every time, by design. For a real report use the public endpoint or the form on the homepage.
